Sun Prairie Utilities is pleased to support a large and varied number of community organizations. Each year, the utility selects clubs, service groups and other civic organizations to make worthy contributions that will help meet a need in the community.

In 2008, we provided the following donations:

$1000 High School Scholarships

$1000 Cannery Street Block Party

$1000 SP Economic Development Council

$300 was collected in customer donations to the Sun Prairie Food Pantry with our LED tree light Gift of Light program.

$300 American Cancer Society Relay for Life

$200 SPHS Senior Party
We also waive the meter set fee for the use of hyrdant meters for organization car washes at designated locations in town.

We consider requests for contributions on a case-by-case basis. If your civic group or non-profit organization has a funding need, send us a request. All requests must be submitted in writing, stating the name of the organization and the purpose of the contribution.
